General Terms of Service
This is a translation; in case of discrepancies the Latvian version prevails.
These General Terms set out how SIA “KRIXIS” (Reg. No. 40203343191, hereinafter – the Contractor), under its brand WebVite Prints, works with customers (hereinafter – the Customer) and provides personalised poster designs in the form of digital files.
By placing an order and starting the cooperation, the Customer agrees to these General Terms and to the Distance Contract.
1. Communication and placing an order
1.1. Orders are placed via WhatsApp (+371 28718539). Communication about order details, the design and revisions takes place in writing (via WhatsApp or by email at [email protected]) so that all information can be traced.
1.2. The Customer sends photographs to [email protected] as email attachments in their original quality.
1.3. The Contractor undertakes to reply to the Customer’s messages and questions within a reasonable time (usually within 1–2 working days).
2. Design process and revisions
This section is essential for smooth cooperation and for respecting both parties’ time.
2.1. After receiving the order and all the necessary information, the Contractor prepares the first version of the design based on the information and wishes provided by the Customer, and sends it to the Customer for review.
2.2. The price of the service includes 1 (one) free round of revisions.
2.3. A round of revisions means one consolidated list of all required changes (for example, a change of font, text corrections, colours or swapping images) that the Customer sends in a single message/email.
2.4. If, after the free revision, the Customer wishes to make further changes, each subsequent revised version costs 5 EUR.
2.5. After the design has been approved and the invoice paid, the Customer receives the finished design in digital format – PDF and JPEG files (300 DPI) – at the email address provided.
3. The Customer’s responsibility for content
3.1. The Customer is fully responsible for the accuracy of the information provided to the Contractor (names, texts, dates, places, etc.).
3.2. The Contractor does not correct grammatical or stylistic errors in texts unless separately agreed. All texts are placed in the design exactly as submitted by the Customer.
3.3. The Customer guarantees that they hold the rights of use and copyright for all photographs, graphics or other materials they submit. The Contractor accepts no liability for infringements of third-party copyright arising from materials submitted by the Customer.
4. Deadlines and turnaround time
4.1. The first version of the design is sent within 2 working days of receiving all the necessary information and photographs, unless the parties have agreed otherwise. Each revised version is prepared within 1 working day of receiving the requested changes.
4.2. The Contractor is not responsible for delays in delivering the design if they are caused by the Customer not submitting the necessary materials or replies in good time, or by delays in approving the design or paying the invoice.
5. Digital file and limitation of liability
5.1. The Contractor prepares and delivers a digital file only. The Contractor does not print, frame, print on canvas or deliver posters. The Customer prints the file themselves or has it printed (at home, at a photo studio, a print shop or any other printing service of their choice).
5.2. The Contractor is not responsible for print quality, colour differences, or the choice of paper, canvas or size provided by the printer or printing service chosen by the Customer.
5.3. Designs are created using third-party design tools (for example, Canva). The Contractor is not liable for temporary disruptions caused by factors beyond the Contractor’s control (technical problems with third-party servers, global internet outages).
6. Final provisions
6.1. The Contractor has the right to refuse to provide the service or to end the cooperation if the Customer behaves rudely or disrespectfully, or if the Customer does not comply with these terms.
6.2. These terms may be amended or supplemented. The current version of the terms is always available on the WebVite Prints website.
