Privacy Policy
This is a translation; in case of discrepancies the Latvian version prevails.
This Privacy Policy explains how SIA “KRIXIS” (hereinafter – We, the Controller or the Service Provider), under its brand WebVite Prints, collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our services and visit the WebVite Prints website.
We care about your privacy and the protection of your personal data, in compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
1. Controller and contact details
The controller of personal data is:
- Name: SIA “KRIXIS”
- Registration number: 40203343191
- Contact email: [email protected]
- WhatsApp: +371 28718539
2. What data do we process and why?
We process data only to the extent necessary to provide the service.
2.1. Customer data. To accept an order, communicate with you, send you the finished file and issue an invoice, we collect the following data:
- first name and surname;
- phone number / WhatsApp and email address for communication and sending files;
- information needed for payment and invoicing (for example, a bank account number).
- Legal basis: entering into and performing a contract, and complying with accounting legislation.
2.2. Design content data. To create a personalised design, we process the information you submit to us, for example:
- names, dates, places and other texts you want included in the design;
- photographs;
- for a birth poster – the baby’s name, date and time of birth, weight and length.
- Legal basis: performance of a contract.
2.3. Review data. If you submit a review using the review form on our website, we receive the following data:
- first name;
- rating (1–5 stars) and, if given, the name of the design;
- the text of the review.
- Legal basis: your consent.
The form data is sent to SIA “KRIXIS” by email using the form-processing service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co). We publish your review together with your name on the website only if you have given your consent by ticking the relevant box in the form. You may ask us to correct or delete your review at any time by writing to [email protected].
3. Third-party data in the design
Designs often include data about other people too (for example, the names, dates and photographs of a partner, child or family members). With regard to such data:
- The Customer confirms that they have the right to submit this data and these photographs for creating the design (for example, with the consent of the persons concerned, or as a child’s legal representative).
- We use this data only to create the design ordered, do not analyse it and do not pass it on to third parties for any other purpose.
4. How long we keep data
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
- Accounting documents (invoices and contracts) are kept for 5 years in accordance with the Latvian Law on Accounting.
- Photographs and design files are kept for 3 months after the order is completed (so that we can make revisions or resend the file), and are then deleted, unless agreed otherwise (for example, to include the design in our portfolio with your permission).
5. Sharing data with third parties
We do not sell or disclose your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be shared with trusted service providers (data processors) solely to provide the service, for example:
- our email service provider;
- the form-processing service FormSubmit (for sending the review form);
- the WhatsApp messaging platform;
- the design tools used to create the design (for example, Canva);
- accounting and invoicing systems;
- our website hosting provider;
- public authorities, where required by law.
Some of these service providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, data protection is ensured by the mechanisms provided for in the GDPR (for example, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses).
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request the correction of your data if it is inaccurate;
- request the erasure of your data (the “right to be forgotten”), unless this conflicts with our legal obligation to keep the data (e.g. for accounting purposes);
- withdraw your consent to data processing where the processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv).
7. Cookies
The WebVite Prints website does not use cookies or advertising tracking tools, so no cookie consent is required. For visitor statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not build user profiles and only collects anonymous, aggregated data (for example, the page visited, the country and the type of device). To ensure security and technical operation, our website hosting provider may briefly process technical data (for example, your IP address).
